At AMAIN HOBBIES SHOP, we stand behind the quality and performance of every product we curate for our global community of RC enthusiasts. However, we understand that sometimes a part isn’t the right fit or may arrive not as expected. This policy outlines our straightforward process for returns and exchanges, designed with the hobbyist in mind.

1. Our Return & Exchange Promise

We offer a 15-day return or exchange window from the date you receive your order. Items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition with all original packaging, manuals, and accessories included.

2. The Return/Exchange Process: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to initiate a return or exchange, ensuring a smooth process just like a well-planned build.

  1. Initiate Your Request: Within 15 days of delivery, contact our support team at [email protected] with your order number and details about the item you wish to return or exchange.
  2. Receive Your RMA & Instructions: Our team will review your request and, if approved, issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with detailed shipping instructions. Do not ship any items back without an RMA number.
  3. Pack and Ship: Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging, include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box, and ship to the address provided. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  4. Inspection & Processing: Once received at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item(s) (a process as thorough as checking a Gen8 chassis before a crawl). Processing typically takes 3-5 business days after arrival.
  5. Completion: Upon approval, your exchange will be shipped out, or your refund will be initiated as outlined below.

4. Refunds: Timing & Method

Once your return is inspected and approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please note:

  • Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB) & PayPal: Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days after we process them, depending on your bank or PayPal’s policies.
  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).
  • For exchanges, we will ship the replacement item once the return is approved. Standard or free shipping will apply based on the new order value.

⚠️ Important: Items That Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged

To ensure safety and hygiene for all our customers, the following product categories are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged:

Batteries Electronics Engines/Fuel Bodies (if the packaging has been opened)

Analysis Basis: Based on our website menu and product focus, items like Batteries and Electronics (which include sensitive ESCs, receivers, and FPV Racing gear) are often subject to specific safety regulations and cannot be resold once opened. Bodies (RC car/truck bodies) are considered custom/personalized once removed from packaging. Always inspect these items immediately upon delivery.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is incorrect, please contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund immediately and cover all associated shipping costs—no need to wait for the standard return process. Please include photos of the product and packaging in your email.
